I think this Poll is crazy. I'm a msaavie Been fan, he's one of my favourite fighters of all time, but Ward would make him look stupid!

 

You're probably right But the thing about Benn was that just about every fight he was in was exciting. He gave 100%. He was dangerous even when really under the cosh. Doesn't every boxing fan like a figher like that - even when you want the other guy to win? Gives him a lot of kudos when it comes to polls like this imho

 

Benn is getting schooled in this fantasy fight. Benn was Wild Brawler who would get picked part by master boxer son of ***** Ward.

Benn would most propably managed not to Fight Ward thou.

Ward is the superior fighter in almost every single way. Benn has marginally more power, but that's it. The people that choose Benn are enormously guilty of favouring previous generations with no good reason.

Benn wasn't a huge puncher at 168, and would probably be unable to knock Ward out.

Ward is probably physically stronger, he's definitely the faster and more technically proficient fighter. Ward has an excellent inside game, and could at the very least come close to matching Benn. Most of all however, Ward is far, far, far more versatile.

I wouldn't give Benn much of a chance.

Why do people ignore that Benn could adapt his game? even though with Wards fragile whiskers and lack of power he wouldn't have to, Benn could still enter a technical fight.

I ask one more time, if Ward struggled with Bika, how can someone say Ward destroys Benn? is Bika that much better than Benn?atschatsch
