Benn was laying some serious leather on Duran, maybe a little too much for sparring imo..You could see how the fight would've gone imo with them...Weather the power sneaking in beautiful counters, chip away at the chin as well as his energy then give him a reason to go down in 8/9 rounds. There's also the chance Benn takes his bottom jaw off and a stretcher is needed too

Damn how old was Duran when this happened. I imagine ancient, Benn lit him up in this session.

Duran is crafty af, there's a session between him and Sergio Mora where he teaches Mora the art of counter punching 101.
Benn was going hard, with speed and power but Duran looked really calm. I read that Duran struggled with talented olympic silver medalist Hector Lopez, who won the medal at 17 years old and was a really skilled boxer that almost beat Kostya Tzsyu back in the day, supposedly Lopez made an old Duran quit.

Mid-70's at Lightweight was Duran's true prime. This is about 12 years later.

Benn is fast, although in a longer fight Duran might start to take over since Benn is right in front of him.

This was in preparation for the Iran Barkley fight in 1989.

Benn also fought Barkley a few years later.

Hard to believe that Duran didn’t actually retire until 2001.

Duran was not a lightweight here, or then we can say a welterweight beat Virgil Hill.

This is clearly an older out of shape Duran who is going light and clowning Benn with his defensive moves while Benn is going a bit harder than he should. Is it really that hard to see???? WTF are you guys watching that you cant see this????
