lets talk about him for a second, this guy had an exciting style and devastating KO power..how does he do against... Pavlik Taylor Abraham Hopkins Calzaghe Kessler Miranda Lacy Froch
Pavlik - Benn KO Taylor - Benn KO Abraham - Benn TKO Hopkins - Hopkins UD Calzaghe - Calzaghe UD Kessler - Kessler UD Miranda - Benn KO Lacy - Benn TKO Froch - Benn TKO
Pavlik-Pavlik weathers the storm and kos Benn, Michael Watson style, sort of Taylor - Taylor UD, if he can see out the last three rounds. Both go down. Abraham - Benn KO Hopkins - Hopkins late KO Calzaghe - Calz UD, maybe late rounds TKO Kessler - pick em Miranda - bombs away! Benn early Lacy - Benn boxes and brawls to UD. Probably gets off the floor to win close one Froch - Benn KO
At what weights? middlewight he has a very good punches chance against all of them. Was still world class but not quite as good as SMW
Pavlik-Pavlik, in a similar win over miranda and his first win over taylor Taylor - Ben by late KO Abraham - Benn KO Hopkins - Hopkins late KO Calzaghe - Calzaghe by wide UD (7 times out of 10) but Ben actauly has a better chance against Calzaghe then most other greats on Calzaghe's level just based on fighting styles and both fighters' strengths and weaknesses. Kessler - Kessler by UD (however I've seen way more Kessler then Benn and have refused to watch his greatest preformance against McCallum for obvious reasons, although i have watched the documentary, and I haven't yet seen his second fight with Eubanks. So upon further review i may change my pick as this is a close one). Miranda - Ben kicks Miranda's ass in a short but violent war. I'm sorry the guy that came through the ropes to beat McCallum isn't losing a brawl, especially against a guy with half his boxing ability in miranda. Lacy - Benn KO Froch - Benn KO
:rofl he beats them all apart from hopkins and calzaghe. kessler possibly beats him but i don't like the look of kessler when put under pressure. benn only moves in one direction, forward.
 yeah one problem with that, michael watson's defence is watertight, kelly pavlik is as open as jenna jamesons legs on her latest filmset.
Yeah you might be right. Would be happy if he could man. Like him more then Pavlik anyways. I'll take a guess based on your avitar and say you know more about Ben then I do.
160 version of benn, pavlik has a chance because he was so wild and untamed. he had skills but didn't use them. he went headhunting from the first bell and was on you like a cheap suit looking to rip your head off although i'd still make benn favourite as pavlik doesn't have the defensive ability of a watson or eubank to protect him from those monster shots. 168 benn is a tall order for pavlik. he had a suttle bob and weave defence and paced himself and picked those big shots a hell of a lot better. if this guy can have the g-man backing up you can bet your bottom dollar he can back pavlik up.
no doubt. his power was amongst the absolute best there's ever been at 160. although his style cost him badly against watson and eubank the first time out.
Its a bit lucky dip with Benn - his loss to Eubank was down to carelessness and Eubanks iron chin. Benn never lost to an american, Kod most of them if not all- Benn should be in the HOF but probably would not accept due to his religious beliefs
