    Both Benn and Toney were scared of Barkley back then. He was one of the most intimidating men in the sport.

    ...Someone posted in the Classic forum that when Barkley came out to face Van Horn the whole arena seemed scared :lol:.

    Van Horn bricked it - badly. He should’ve boxed circles around a shot Barkley really bless him.

    At the press conference Barkley swiped out a massive blade and hinted he’d kill Van Horn if he tried to steal victory on points. Women were screaming and Barkley looked deranged.

    Ha my Grandad did actually look a bit like Barry Chuckle with the mustache. Mind you he survived fighting in world war 2, which makes the Bronx in the 80s look like Disneyland Paris.
