if benn come out winging like he did in eubank 1,maybe just maybe froch could stop him, doubt it though.
benn in the mclellenn fight, froch totally ****ed over, big time, would of been a good old fight though

    hard one,two of my favourite fighters;
    rnd 1
benn caught repeatedly with the cobra's jab, froch ships a few ferocious hooks to the body, plenty of circling and stalking from froch.
    rnd 2
froch swarms benn and backs him up on the ropes, plenty of vicious counters as benn turns froch and puts him down with a left/right combo, the bell saves froch.
    rnd 3
froch's lesson is learnt as benn gives him no let-up and rips wild hooks into a wilting cobra, finally an overhand right out of nowhere catches carl unawares and he's counted out.

    or something like that.........
..............imagination is a great thing lol

    I'll say this:

Froch would fair better than Calzaghe.

    Benn quick and ruthlessly.

I could see Benn getting a stoppage in 6

    Benn Froch = Benn KO

Benn Calzaghe= Doesn't happen because Calzaghe pulls out injured and the match is never remade. Like Calzaghe Johnson, Hamed Marquez etc etc.

I'm a huge Benn fan ( check my av ) but you have two big punchers one with a great chin one with a questionable chin.

I think Benn is the tougher of the too , but I think I would edge it to Carl by late ko

Excellent point, although I'm convinced Froch has a 'great' chin as such.

True , great is maybe pushing it but better than Benns I would say.

What I cant get is people saying Froch wouldn't want it, if there is one thing froch has shown its a desire for battle.

Froch fits in to the Benn , Eubank , Watson , Collins era a damn site better than a certain Mr Calzaghe.

a prime benn would handily beat todays Froch, probably outlast him on points, but we'll have to wait to see if this version is a prime Froch

Why did Collins retire rather than face Calzaghe if he was so much better?

    And Calzaghe beat Eubank!

Calzaghe would have been right in the mix with all of those guys, too hard to hit.

Byron Mitchell- a sloppy flash in the pan former champion, Kareby Salem- one of the worst world title challlengers in recent years, Bernard Hopkins- a non punching former middleweight champion, with one stoppage in his last 11 and Grandad Roy Jones Jnr with 1 stoppage in his last 10 and aged 39 all think otherwise.

How was he hard to hit? he was nailed over and over by Robin Reid and Richie Woodhall. Even one-two run away Mikkel Kessler managed to land a couple of punches on him.

Calzaghe's legacy is purely numbers, he was a **** fighter to watch and was scared to defend his title against anyone remotely dangerous. :good
