I have Golovkin stopping Lemieux, I think he hurts him to the body tonight. Part of me wants Lemieux to do well though and I'm not sure why as I'm neutral.

If Lemieux somehow stops Golovkin before 6 rounds I will do a forfeit. The forfeit will be decided by the user who is 7th to post in this thread (not including this post). It has to be within reason, so something I can prove online and I don't want to break forum rules.

Have a good night and enjoy the fireworks!

obviously ggg, this is a terrible mismatch, lemieux is probably 20/1 in vegas. i hope lemieux wins though, would be funny seeing the GGG****s lose their ****.

    GGG.

I havent seen a great deal of Lemieux. Would be worth putting a bet on him though as an underdog.

Sounds like your preview of Brook v Porter, when you said Porter was easily winning before Brook took him to the cleaners. :think

The more you say this the more people probably edge toward Dave

Golovkin, because he's a more technical fighter. Probably by KO as well. I'd love to see some drama though, hope Lemieux surprises me.

GGG by TKO or maybe even KO. If David comes out aggressive I see GGG countering him hard and early giving him the stoppage victory. If David comes out intelligently I see GGG using his jab and setting up a stoppage in the midrounds. That's not to say David doesn't stand a chance, he's got more than a puncher's chance, but I do feel GGG has a clear advantage in the fight.

    Prediction: Golovkin TKO 3rd round!

I've watched far more David fights than Brook. The only Brook fights I saw pre-porter was Sencheko and Jones.

It'll be GGG. He's being groomed to be the next star, and they have put him in with someone who will make him look good. Lemieux will be game and make it fan friendly, but GGG has too much reach and all he needs is to find the right distance. If David sees the last bell, then kudos to him. No doubt, if he goes down, he will go down swinging. Should be a fun fight to watch.

If lemieux makes it to the last bell I'll admit that this PPV was worth it.

Golovkin by mid round stoppage or maybe a few rounds earlier depending on how Golovkin wants to play it, but anything happen when you have two fighters who pack the kind of power in either hand these two do.
