Mazoudier is digging deep, forcing himself onward, one-twos on the face and chunking out a piece of Tszyu's liver with left hooks. Tszyu still going side to side like a windshield wiper and pawing with the southpaw jab, keeping his left fist on his waistband as a runway to send it flying as anti-aircraft ordnance when Mazoudier steps in too close. But as we have firmly established by now - Mazoudier's chin is well up to task to take Tszyu's best and his heart is unimpeachable. Mazoudier just refusing to take a backward step. Tszyu being hunted, and getting hit, even if the cleanest and flashiest individual shots are from him.

Tszyu choosing now to make his stand, throwing elaborate combinations to hold the middle of the ring. Three or four punches up top and then cutting across Mazoudier's torso with right hooks. Mazoudier answering back very little, but showing no signs of going down or even being particularly hurt. Tszyu just firing on and on, to body and head - and the ref stops it.

Trash stoppage. Mazoudier was literally throwing back 2 seconds before the ref waved it off, and very little of what Tszyu was dumping on him was scoring clean with the knuckles in the minute of followup since that one flush left hand that first rocked Mazoudier back.

I think the ref misinterpreted Mazoudier being bowed down and pushed away by a clubbing forearm from Tszyu as him nearly being knocked down (he wasn't).
