This seems to have been set up perfectly by the card this morning. Both men were victorious, but not without controversy and drama. Zerafa fought to an anticlimax after one tepid round with Tommy Browne, who injured his bicep and retired on his stool...before a chaotic brawl erupted involving members of their respective camps in the ring. Tszyu, in the main event, faced a stiff test from pressure fighter Koen Mazoudier and turned up the heat in the 9th round to prompt a questionable stoppage. Now, if this were the actual Tszyu brother that Zerafa ultimately hopes to land a date with (after 3+ years of bitter public rivalry), Timofei, my unhesitant pick would be the smarmy Chippendale - still living off his single quality victory over Horn - getting KTFO. Nikita, however, is flawed enough that he's no sure bet to halt Zerafa's march toward what surely would be a brutal execution with Tim avenging him.
Judging by the way Zerafa was countered in one round against Tommy Browne & the early finish against Erislandy Lara, I think it could be lights out for Micky Z. And did you hear the way the crowd reacted to Zerafa tonight? If he fights in Sydney again, losing to Nikita could be the least of his problems.
Uh...not sure Chippendale isn't maybe the lesser of two evils here. "As a child, I locked spiders in a box and watched them die. I was even taken to a psychologist" "I was a loner as a kid. I was a withdrawn kid. I remember collecting web-weaving spiders from the backyard and locking them in a box and watching them die from lack of oxygen. To be honest, I feel sorry for my mother – she had to cope with all this. I was even taken to a psychologist. But he said: 'The boy is fine. He just needs attention,' "I like to hurt people. I get sexual pleasure from it" - direct quotes from Nikita Tszyu
Considering a retired 41 year old former flyweight could land shots easily on Flografa. Nikitha is flawed yet tough as and showed improvement with accuracy. Flografa's chin is less than average , Nikitha lands shots similar or more often than the old flyweight Browne did and Zerafa is going to sleep early.
Yep I wouldn't be surprised if they have Nikita v Zerafa up in Queensland after that. It's a 50/50 fight in my opinion but I reckon they should do one more double header with them both on the same card before fighting each other.
