Graves is 6-0 and is coming off a 2-0-1 run in the UFC. Guess he's testing the waters as a free agent. There's some tough fighters in Russia though, he might find himself biting of more than he can chew in these orgs(FN - M-1 etc.)

 

Ali Mahrobakhtiari vs. Shamil Michilov - 3 rounds at Lightweight

 

a little more than 1:00 into the opening frame Michilov catches the Iranian against the cage with a right hand then drills him with an uppercut that sends him to the canvas, from there he piles on ground and pound and the ref stops it 1:32 into the very first round.

 

Bo Meng vs. Liliya Shakirova - 3 rounds at Women's Flyweight

 

10-9 Meng. Takes the round the strength and volume of her kickboxing. Both ladies scored brief takedowns.

 

Meng's quick takedowns and balance are actually quite impressive.

 

10-9 Meng. Who again takes the round with her superior striking. Her case helped further this round with a flash knockdown scored from a crisp right hand, and 2 takedowns.. one of which where she secured full front and back mount for a good 30 seconds(she finished the round on back mount)

 

10-9 Shakirova. Dominant round. Meng looks to coast and pays for it.. Shakirova takes full advantage and applies relentless Golovkin -esque pressure. boxing up and mugging the chinawoman for the majority of the frame - there's a borderline knockdown from a punch to the body somewhere in there from Shakirova. But it may have been a slip

 

29-28 Meng for me.

Shakirova takes a MD on the official cards. I'm ok with this... The 3rd was a borderline 10-8 and although Meng should have taken 1-2 the 1st frame was reasonably close and a case for Shakirova taking it (as well as it being and even round can be made)

 

It's not as easy as deciding on 10-8 rounds for the ladies as it the guys in MMA.. For obvious reasons.

 

So the judge who had it a draw had the same card as me, but ended up scoring the 3rd a 10-8 instead of a 10-9. In hindsight his card was probably the way to go.

 

Umed Khamroev vs. Maxim Mikhteev - 3 rounds at Heavyweight

 

I missed the walkouts/introductions and thus have no idea who is who... Clear round for red trunks though! 10-9

 

10-9 red trunks(I think Maxim Mikhteev) on the strength of his bodylock takedowns and top control.
