Shvab is darting in with the right jab and trying to catch Rodgers ducking with the left cross or uppercut. Rodgers being elusive, slapping at the midsection with soft hooks. Shvab is slipping jabs and touching Rodgers on the chest with his. Rear hand straights are traded, both whistling past target narrowly. Right hook, left cross combo by Shvab, both partially blocked but catching a piece. Rodgers keeps ducking and swooping in, lots of brief tie-ups as they hook each other's body.

Just looked up some footage of Shvab in other fights. Yeah, dude's a full-time southpaw. BoxRec lists orthodox, wrong again.

 

Round 3

Shvab is giving Rodgers a wide berth so he can unroll the southpaw jab unimpeded by clinches. Jabs and uppercuts seem to be Shvab's go-to. Rodgers is able to scout him and shimmy around the jab and score two-pieces without taking a receipt. Shvab looking a bit robotic and unimaginative as he's knocked off balance a few times. Shvab following, pumping and missing the jab. Late skirmish by the ropes, lots thrown but little connecting.

Round 4

Shvab is getting pot-shotted as Rodgers floats around him. A few right hands thrown in almost Tim Duncan fade-away fashion. Shvab looking uncomfortable, constantly resetting his thin spindly legs after each sortie, getting hit more than he's giving back but not with anything damaging. Rodgers with gnat-like light shots, keeping himself very fluid and loose to make Shvab miss with his somewhat predictable right jabs - which seem to be his key to setting up any offense. Lead hooks from Shvab late in the round, ineffective.

Round 5

Rodgers is cuffed with a right hook and then eats a jab. Strong start by Shvab, commanding the center of the ring and making sure to be first and be accurate, not giving Rodgers time or space to be too sinuous in his movements. A flutter of left jabs by Rodgers reaching in, buying himself a moment to circle out. Shvab attempts some body shots but the arms of Rodgers gum up the works. Awkward clinch, Rodgers putting Shvab almost in a headlock before they're split. Very messy round overall. Lead left scores for Schvab, trying to tidy things up and turn it into a proper fencing match. Body shots traded, neither landing clean as they both twist their waists and elbow-block.

Round 6

Rodgers is bouncing around like mad, lowering his left arm with his shoulder sloped, colliding with the ropes or Shvab himself and careening away in a low crouch. Occasional light pot shot right hands by Rodgers, nothing serious. Shvab overeager, tries jabbing and uppercutting at the same time and nearly pitches himself into a front-heavy faceplant. Shvab not just whipping left handed body shots at Rodgers from range, then squaring up to him and spanking him with right hooks above the belt as well. Shvab reaches in with the 1-2, and then another right hook on the body as Rodgers feeds him a short right.
