Nikolay Valuev is a retired 7 foot tall 320 pound 41 year old Super Heavyweight with a 50-2 34 KO's record. Sugar Valuev was born in Leningrad Soviet Union, present day Saint Petersburg. He had no boxing ability whatsoever, he had the skills of a caveman. But there was something so utterly fascinating seeing mere mortals in the ring fighting a big ass, bald, living, breathing, slow, lumbering, gigantic, neanderlithlic beast of a man covered in back hair, yet possessed very little power for such a big dude. Its just something you didn't see very often back in the day I thought he was highly out of the ordinary. But much to my shock and chagrin little did I know that he would become the prehistoric revolutionary mammoth forefather that would lead the Heavyweight division into the new Jurassic Age. Vitali and Wladimir are mere tiny little punes compared to the Gargantuan Sugar Leviathan. But now Sugar has opened the door to a Bunyanesque army of ginormous Heavyweights like Fury, Price, Wilder, Ustinov, Breazeale, Washington, Wach and Joshua that are taking over and ruling the division that at one time thought Foreman at 6'4 was a monster.
In spite of his scary size and intimidating looks he's real good guy with a charming jovial personality and is almost always at most boxing events in Russia and is a huge fan favorite there.
So Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum B****es Check Out the Gentle Giant Sugar Nikolay he was the blueprint and paved the way to the new Land of the Giants. Whether that's a good thing or not I'll let you decide. I'm all for Valuev Vs. Ustinov right now, how about it?

I have Valuev at #14 in my HW ATG rankings. Not the best technician but great chin and good punch. Hard to beat H2H. Amazing fighter, great charisma outside the ring. He's a superstar in Russia to this day.

Larry Donald absolutely defeated the Value Jet and was alarmingly robbed. Larry Donald won that fight by nothing less than four points.

was interesting the klitscho's didn't seem to want t fight him.

320lbs though! the 220lbs hw's he fought were closer to bantamweight than to Valuev

How do you figure? Vitali personally visited Valuev to try to make a fight after he "lost" to Haye. Wlad tried to fight him when he pulled out of the Chagaev fight, Valuev declined....Chagaev took the fight.

The Klitschkos tried numerous times to get Valuev in the ring.....DK blocked it every time.

i thought a fight was offered to one of the klits circa 2007 when Valuev had a belt but opted to go another direction, this is going back 7 years so can't remember the full details

Sugar Nick needs to come outta retirement to fight Dong in a battle of the Behemoths. Should have that chick from Kovalev vs Caparello to ref (Sparkle Lee - her folks musta had a career in porn in mind for her:hey - and she runs off and becomes a boxing ref:bart) just to emphasize how big these guys are.

Maybe have a coupla midget fights as well like that Aussie card from last year.

Valuev (and DK/Sauerland) NEVER offered a fight to K2, it was always K2 seeking a fight to get his WBA belt. DK would have no part of that wthout ridiculous terms.
