How would Nino have fared against the likes of

    Nunn
    Jackson
    Kalambay
    McCallum
    Eubank
    Watson
    Benn
    Johnson
    Toney
    McClennan
    Jones
    Hopkins
    Collins

Who does he beat? Who gives him the most trouble? Does he have a chance of emerging as lineal champion?

Nino moved up from JrMW to beat former WW Champ EGriffith for a MW title fight trilogy.
    Carlos Monzon manhandled Nino.

Most likely Nino would have trouble beating anyone on the above list.

I didn't want to agree that Nino would have had trouble with everyone on that list, but in the end I do. The Monzon fights I've always given Nino a pass on because he was at the end of the line but realistically Carlos would have ko'd him on his best day also.

Nino with his good looks, had a lot of lady-friends over in the US too. Used to train in a swimming pool throwing punches in the water to increase "hand-speed, supposedly". Sports Illustrated had a few good articles on him I believe in the late 60's.
