I would expect Valdez to win this based on stylistic factors. He would use his range to outbox Gallento, and if he did not sucumb to one of those wicked left hooks he would win the day.
Valdes actually had a very good jab. Tony would never get away from it. Valdes could wack himself too..enough to really stagger Tony with his killer right hand. Valdez would keep tony at bay the whole fight, pummeling galento with barrages and utilizing his long arms to his advantage.
