    But does Cooney have a shot here?
    Valdes could be inconsistent ,not saying Gerry blast s him out but is he the type of fighter that u can say is certain to defeat the man with wrecking ball fists ?

    Cooney certainly has a shot.

    It is one of those cases where you go with the man with the better body of work, but there is not much more in it than that.

    Cooney brutally. Cooney became such a joke that people forget that he did not start out as one, and as a matter of fact possessed one of the most devastating hooks at heavy. Valdez had nothing to compare with that.

    In the Rocky III intro, when they show Clubbers rise through the ratings, Cooney is the one knocked out and left shaking.
    The 70s porn star Vita VALDEZ would blow Cooney away. Nino would do likewise.
