all things considered though as it is Riddick Bowe defeats a game Nino Valdes - the Riddick Bowe of the first Holyfield fight I think is one of the great heavyweights - I don't rate a huge amount of heavyweight champions as better let alone good contenders - that Bowe I have at 12 so thats only 11 heavyweight champions in boxing history that I rank higher - really wished he'd have progressed on from that - the crappy out of shape Bowe of later fights say, Holy 2 etc would probably let himself down against someone like a Valdes :verysad

 

agreed. bowe was absolutly a sensation against holyfeild. he showed flashes before and nothing much after. The sloppy side of bowe v the best of valdes is a 50-50 fight. there is no getting away from what a great fighter bowe was for that one fight though.
