Tony wins, despite being overweight the guy was a pretty good boxer with quite a walop he also had a good chin, tony takes him to later rds and wins by TKO.

I´m inclined to favor Valdes because I think he just looks better on film, much better to be honest......Galento was very unskilled in my opinion......

    Valdes by TKO...

I'd probably go with Valdes in this one - Niño pushed Arcie Moore fairly close in one fight (or close enough that he was in tears coz he thought he'd been robbed at least) and scored a mightily impressive win on points once against Ez Charles of all people (although Ez himself said he caught him on the worst night of his career and wouldn't risk a rematch) - but still - he had height 6'3" against 5'8" for Phat Tony and was a genuine 210 pounder really where I tend to beleive that Tony under the fat was really just a middleweight or something for All we really know - he may have been a 230 or 240 phatso but years later when he lost all that fat he was absolutely tiny!! Like a little frail old man - plus he was an absolutely awful awful boxer - he literally was like an olde worlde bare knuckler trying to box a modern day fighter - all he seemed able to do was wait til they came together then butt and thumb and rabbit punch - Valdes' wingspan would keep Tony out enough I think and he's got to be capable of coming away with a points win when you factor in the number of points Tony is probably going to get taken off him for fouling
