    Round 5

Yurachai has begun to slow a bit and is trying more of a high guard based defense than just movement. Wangek is finding him with more of those right hooks. The body shots are still very low accuracy, with lots of "yish-yish-yish" resulting in misses or getting stuffed on Yurachai's elbows. Wangek reaches in with a lazy right jab and Yurachai counters with a right hand lead before springing away. Wangek spamming lefts on the way in, not reaching but using their momentum to carry himself in close and work the body. Yurachai looks tired, hands down, mouth breathing. Clinch. Wide body flurry by Yurachai while turning Wangek.

    10-9 Wangek

    49-44 Wangek

    Round 6

Yurachai meets Wangek in the middle of the ring and throws combinations beginning and ending with long right uppercuts in the chest. Wangek yish-yishes his way in, taking shots in the hopes of landing fewer but heavier ones. Yurachai dances around the slow southpaw jab of Wangek, dodging it easily. Wangek works the body. Clinch. Break. A couple of heavy lefts from Wangek, blocked. Yurachai puts him in a headlock and gets a warning from the ref. They play pattycake with their jabs, and then Yurachai slaps Wangek's right glove away with his left and then paintbrushes it across Wangek's face. Yurachai clinching to stall anytime Wangek gets any momentum with body shots. Wangek when he headhunts landing almost nothing. Yurachai flurrying madly diving in to clinch, making some incidental contact. They do some infighting without clinching for a moment and Yurachai lands a flush uppercut on the bottom of Wangek's chin. Left hook by Yurachai. Combo by Wangek.

    10-9 Yurachai

    58-54 Wangek

Woof. Wangek was, at one time, among the most feared punchers in the sport (p4p / proportionate to his longtime weight class, super fly).

Now? This is his third consecutive time failing to stop a novice with a non-positive record.

Kritiphak Duangnut was 0-1-0, Guangheng Luan was 3-4-1, and now Wuttichai Yurachai came in 1-1. All same result, UD6.

I think Wangek's winding down, ready for a cashout fight.

Didn't watch it but I'm assuming Sor Rungvisai looked less than stellar? That's the third time in a row where he couldn't close the show against novices. Sad to see a once dangerous puncher from the small weight reduced to this.

This was a better performance than the one he had against the Chinese fighter. Still, based on how he looked, I wouldn't favor him against any of the current champs, or anyone in the top. The most plausible way he gets a shot at the title would be if his countryman Petch can pull off the miracle against Nakatani. Although in all honesty, I think even this version of Rungvisai has a better shot at Junto than Petch does.

Absolutely not agree Srisaket Sor Rungvisai was better in that fight than his three last fights in Bangkok.

Definetely in the 2nd round he made a absolutely destruction.
