Jiminy Cricket was originally Jiminy Crickets, with an 's'. And that character was a subtle homage to one Mr. Jimmy Bivins, whose, yes, birth certificate name was Jiminy Jamzozark Bivinsberg. Who was, get this, born in the city of Cricketsville, Missouri. The layers to this are wondrous. His nickname growing up was first "Jimmyjams" or "Jim-Jam" but later was "The Human Cricketpede." The latterest of those was after an unfortunate sewing accident.
I’m going to go with Schemling - Louis 1, Boring pick as it might be, I just really learned a lot watching that fight and have seen it too many times now.
Give Schmeling-Baer a watch if you haven't. It's one of the few where Baer really goes all out, and includes not only some clean, hard punching on both sides, but Baer fouls the **** out him with backhands, rabbit punches, etc.
Yeah, Schmeling actually gave the definition of taking someone to school, Louis learnt and became undefeated undisputed from now on,atleast until that WW2 service.
