Damn... and he still lost to both Cotto and Clottey?

If only it were that simple. Because of Pac's style, people conclude that he's nothing but a wild fighter. He's a thinking fighter. His counter punching and execution of a game plan in the ring is underrated. Roger and Floyd knows it's not that simple against Pac.

^ this and pacs style is wrong for Floyd, Ortiz will just give more credence to that fact. If Floyd is as good as his nuthuggers think he is, Ortiz shouldnt win a single round ( he wouldnt against Pacquiao). He's B-class. But Floyd has a problem with lefties . He squares himself up and fights in straight lines, and on top of that he only throws one punch at a time. That's no recipe to beat "emmanuel". Plus you gotta have the heart and warrior mentality which JMM / Morales had. That's the key ingredient that Floyd doesn't have.

Being quick isn't everything. I'm telling you how wrong you are to say emmanuel is quicker than Zab, but that simple wordplay flew over your head.

emmanuel is going to be trying to pressure Floyd and coming forward. That isn't no "Zab Judah". Terrible analogy.

Too bad emmanuel has a phobia of young champions coming off a great win just like you have a phobia to read my posts.

Void should stop running from Pac now! Instead he beats up women!

Of course Floyd is a massive favorite vs Ortiz and, I would say, a slight favorite vs Pac.

    Age is the only factor.

Basic and elementary perspective. You only scratch the surface when you touch on how easy PAC will be for Floyd if "Money" ever steps up.

Ortiz is fairly simple. He's a good, solid young fighter. His strength is his power and strength. He's got decent skills but has got that come forward style that a counter puncher like floyd will eat up.

But PAC is NOT Ortiz. PAC is by far more dynamic and dangerous. He's got the athletic ability Floyd works with along with more explosiveness with his offense. Talent wise both PAC and Floyd are level. Skill wise Floyd is more techncially sound but PAC's offense has more layers.

Floyd has trouble with certain styles....he has problems with guys who are relentless, who apply intelligent pressure and who show a good, consistent jab. Floyd also has trouble with southpaws.

PAC has speed, he's relentless and he's a southie. 3 BIG problems that presents itself to Floyd as a boxer which is why Floyd is reluctant to fight PAC and why we see Floyd choosing Victor to fight this year.

Floyd also has qualities that present problems for Manny as a fighter. Speed and counter punching have given PAC some problems in the past as well but that was before he was the fighter we see today. Floyd is the only guy from 154 and down who can beat PAC and vise versa. That's why this fight is so important. It will answer a lot of questions about Floyd and Manny.

Floyd knows PAC is not going to be easy which is why he's taking his time in getting the fight made...and he may never find himself as "ready". Based on what he said yesterday it looks like he's getting himself prepared to step up which I'm keeping my fingers crossed for.
