My money is definatly on Calzaghe here.

But God I'd love it if RJJ won.

The main thing in RJJ's favour is that Calzaghe cant punch at all, so RJJ doesent have to be worried about a KO, so he should be able to open up a bit and maybe hurt Calzaghe.

But I'm still backing Calzaghe to slap him silly.

Jones by UD. Joe can't hurt Roy and once that's apparent to Jones, he'll open up show us that he still has the speed and skills to beat a B level fighter in JC.

Calzaghe by decision, with a possibility of referee stoppage.

Roy Jones throws just enough punches to make this fight even more problematic for Calzaghe than the one against Hopkins. Jones is more precise with his shots and brings just enough power at this stage of his career for Calzaghe to be more careful than the usual and hold a bit back from letting his hands go in never ending flurries (slapfest)...

Because of that, Calzaghe will hesitate to constantly follow Jones to the ropes. Jones will let Calzaghe unleash his slaps and then return his combos working the body and head effectively.

Calzaghe will definitely be more busy but it'll be evident in this fight that Jones is more effective than Calzaghe. With Hopkins, it wasn't the case...because Hopkins couldn't get Clazaghe's respect with his power which is not on the same level as Jones !

RJJ 116-112 across the table !!

Well that would in essence make Calzaghe change who he is as a fighter now wouldnt it. Calzaghe likes to overwhelm his opponents with a barrage of slaps and pressure, if he does that against RJ, he will get caught. Cuz RJ does have the handspeed and power to catch Calzaghe. Now if Calzaghe lets off the pressure and tries 2 b more defensive minded, he is not going to outbox Roy Jones. SO pick your poison.
RJ has more than a small chance 2 win this fight. I think RJ will land hard body shots that will set up the rest of his offense throughout the fight. He will keep his defense tight and methodically beat Calzaghe

    :deal
we are on the same page. RJ is gonna open up eyes in this fight
