i'm a fan of floyd but that's an absurd claim. no athlete who fights once a year if that is the hardest working athlete in all of sports. floyd just happens to be unbelievably gifted and intelligent in the sport of boxing, so when he does choose to work hard, it shows.
Failed in all the adjectives, what? Not sweating off two pounds because he didn't think he'd feel right doesn't mean he isn't dedicated, determined or a dependable boxing superstar. It means he's wise.
My thoughts exactly. People get carried away with Floyds comments. The very best all work hard to get where they are at.
When he is fighting, hard to argue that he's not right up there with the most hard working and dedicated. This is only his 3rd fight in 4 years though. Also it can't be proved that he works harder than any of the other elite and finely conditioned fighters like Hopkins and Pacquiao.
I think he knows that he's going to have to stand his ground against a guy who isn't going to use the jab who is going to try to bomb him out.
:huh Really? You think Floyd looked slower as a part of his regimen because he knows he needs to move from what has worked for him for over a decade? To great results. Against Ortiz? Seriously..WTF?!? How long have you watched Floyd fight for? Three years? atsch
I know. I don't talk to posters with agendas. They aren't open minded so I put them on ignore quick fast. Simple as that. I have neither the time or patience to entertain a pissing contest.
A guy who posts at boxing scene was allowed to watch Mayweather train and a 36 second video clip of Mayweather sparring. He also said based off the sparring, he knows that Mayweather plans to bring the pressure to Ortiz and his legs are still there and timing and reflexes are still there also
