I don't put nearly as much stock in this stuff as you do but I love how you only cherry pick posts from his sparring partners while ignoring all of the opposing quotes from men who've actually fought with him in real fighting conditions (below). Makes you seem either incredibly dishonest or blinded by hero worship devotion:

Even Lemieux and other opponents who praise Golovkin's power as being the best or among the best they've ever faced do so in a way that makes clear that they don't regard his power to be other-worldly or anything. The man hits very, very hard but you are making him out to be some kind of comic book super hero.

 

Most people had him beating Daniel Jacobs, a good top middleweight but not an elite talent, by just one point if at all. To say he beats every fighter in his division, and every fighter in the next three divisions north, is quite the odd delusional statement. Middleweight Golovkin beats Light Heavyweights Ward and Kovalev? Sorry but no, not happening. It's all opinion so if you feel that way, good for ya... Threads like this bred the Golovkin haters years ago. Needless to say, most extreme praise of Golovkin on this forum has been proven more dramatic and crazy in statement than those who doubt or damper the talk in response.

 

And I'm not exactly sure why you posted the JDJ interview. In it he explains away and thereby minimizes one of Golovkin's most revered sparring moments, dropping Krusher with a body blow. Seems like a case study on the inanity of reading too much into sparring session occurrences and outcomes.

 

Just remember Ivan Calderon, junior flyweight, dominated both Oscar and Mosley in sparring, 2008-09.

 

Didn't know that he dominated them but the fact that he was in the same ring with them says it all. We're talking about practice! (AI voice)

 

I think the hugely overrate Degale would prob get beat down. He eats a lot of shots and nobody gives a **** about his slapping flurries. Golovkin gets badly beaten up at 175 though.

 

No doubt, people forget that Golovkin is a Triple God, a triple G.

 

to say Andre Dirrell and James Degale would ' school' Golovkin is almost a reportable offence on here.. severe trolling.

James Degale for crying out loud haha! that guy could easily have like 6 losses.

 

Yep it's unbelievable how some people on here overrate Degale, he's consistently proved to be a very AVERAGE fighter, he's been lucky quite a few times with the judges and hes luckily been in a weak division.

 

Those examples are both special talents in their respective divisions where the big guy would win based on size but you get an average shitty cruiserweight and put him in with GGG the skill levels are too wide
GGG will box like he did against Lemieux except he would look like sugar ray compared to the big guy

 

Danny Jacobs put an end to the GGG myth. Watch GGG and his team avoid a rematch at all costs.

 

He won, and KD him into the bargain. Get over it.

I said average CW champion. A generic, not overly great guy like Bellew would destroy GGG. He's simply way too big for GGG to handle and the skill gap is not big enough to make up for the reach/weight gap.
