I said average CW champion. A generic, not overly great guy like Bellew would destroy GGG. He's simply way too big for GGG to handle and the skill gap is not big enough to make up for the reach/weight gap.

Even Lemieux and other opponents who praise Golovkin's power as being the best or among the best they've ever faced do so in a way that makes clear that they don't regard his power to be other-worldly or anything. The man hits very, very hard but you are making him out to be some kind of comic book super hero.

You there, @reznick ? I generally don't put much stock in quotes about relative punching power so I would appreciate some guidance on whether we should pay any attention to the men who fought Golvokin for real, or ignore their quotes in favor of those from his sparring partners.

The #1 200lb in he world insinuated that Golovkin has been his toughest sparring partner, among heavyweights and cruiserweights. And he's been dominating his division in an unprecedented way.
