No buzz for Taylor vs. Lacy

I'm looking forward to the fight; much so.

 

I am too. Too bad theres almost 0 hype about this fight. But I'm not surprised. I just hope Lacy looks better.

 

This is an American vs American fight, so there will be no nationalistic feelings at stake. So the US media and US fans must be the drivers of any hype for this fight.

It is a great fight and a MUST-SEE fight, but you are not going to get those groups of haters and lovers fighting it out on ESB for this one.

The haters will often dislike both and the lovers will often like both. Personally I like both and I don't really mind much who wins, I just want to see a good fight - and may the best man win. However, that attitude does not create a lot of long discussions on ESB.

 

Both were overrated, but at least Lacy won his fights without having to rely on HBO to get him gifts.

I'm looking for "Left Hook" to take the fraud out late. :yep

 

No interest from me. Lacy is a hack and this is just a confidence builder for Taylor.

 

I am not sure how some could say taylor is fraud giving the fact that his fought hopkins twice, winky wright, pavlik twice. 2-2-1. Given that, Lacy, hasn't been the same since the rotator cuff surgery, I think Taylor retires him for good by UD.

 

Im intrigued about this fight, but not excited.

Id like to see Lacy do well, even if its just one last hoorahhh...

If he wins I think we have one of the upsets of the past 5-10 years!

 

Just two overhyped boxers in a ring. But im going for a Taylor win.

 

A Taylor win would set up an potential Kessler - Taylor fight up nicely imo.
