Ruiz is 6 years younger, in his prime, and had never been stopped. Ruiz easily dominated and knocked out Dimitrenko in 5 rounds. Easy night means no real need for a long recovery. Kovalev is 6 years older, was in REALLY BAD SHAPE against Yarde, and has looked more and more fragile. I dunno.

Do you know how many posters on this forum have been proven wrong who claimed that there would definitely be a catchweight or a rehydration clause. There's a long list of posters on here who just look stupid now after idiotically claiming there would definitely be a catchweight. Different levels indeed. Canelo hasn't ever been known to avoid being tested when contractually obligated to do so. It's more suspicious if Kovalev skipped or refused to submit a test while in training camp than it is for Canelo to pop for clen before entering training while living in an area known to have clen in its meat.
