No cherry picking Marquez

how can he prepare for manny fighting paul and shane? dont act like you dont know thats how boxing works...they fight the same people to show us who won more impressive and to get a feel for the man they will eventually meet for a build up

 

Because of Marquez's size if you look at it as a tune-up, (because he was "retired"), it's a good/ok fight I guess. It was Marquez's decision to call him out. Of course Floyd did happily oblige. I don't think it's fair to say Floyd needed to fight a top welter for his next fight, he has been inactive. He probably retired JUST so he could do something like these and get away with not fighting a top welter after fighting Ricky.

Then again, Pac is as big as JMM anyway, so would Pac be a tune-up too?

It's a good fight I guess. But I just wish he would step up and fight a top welter.
