"I can confirm that nothing has been forthcoming from Golden Boy since they informed the WBC of their decision," Loeffler exclusively told World Boxing News.

"We are still hopeful that the fight with Canelo can be made and are open to continuing the discussions as soon as Golden Boy are ready and willing to do so."

    DuckNelo is scared to death!!!:yep

If there were any intention what so ever to make this fight they woudnt of just given the belt up like they did. Everything they have said so far regarding the GGG fight have not been followed through or backed up.

Dont mind them not wanting the fight or not making the fight but i just wish they would cut out some of the misleading krap they are talking about wanting the fight and putting gloves straight back on and making sure K2 have their phones on and Mexicans are scared of nobody bla bla bla bla.

    Source?

If true, it's a clear duck unless something is in the works with Floyd or Pacquiao.

If I had to guess, Floyd is stringing him along like Khan and will announce a McGregor fight to steal the September date. Maybe a Pacquiao rematch next year to steal the May date too.

    :deal

Since when does the A side need to call the B side?

By no sensible measure is GGG the 'A side'. His management team has been totally outmaneuvered to the point he doesn't have any viable opponents. Also, his PPV numbers were poor, while Canelo's are through the roof. Then there's the age factor; the clock is ticking for old man Golovkin, whereas Canelo has youth on his side.

You know 'A' comes before 'B' in the alphabet, right?

Right, that is why I question Loeffler's comments. Canelo has a bunch of guys he can fight, from WW, Jr. MW to MW.

GGG on the other hand has no name fighter in his horizon other than Canelo.

Consdering that GGG is a B side fighter, whos only PPV pulled a pathetic 97-150K buys, and who'se resume is stacked with bums, journeymen, prospects and C level fighters, I feel it should be GGGs camp trying to contact GBP to have GGG finally fight a credible opponent on a huge stage infront of a huge audience, for the richest fight he'll ever have making GGG richer and everyone in his camp....

...Yet they expect GBP to call them  :nut

GGG has a TERRIBLE management team. :deal

They didnt seem to mind saying they would be calling K2 the day after the Khan fight. And anyway Canelo has given up the A side title now by showing everybody he is a massive pu55y.

    :rofl:rofl

Dropping your belt like a two dollar crack hoe short two dollars for the next hit is "outmaneuvered"? :rofl I'm surprised that the Mexicans weren't waiting for him with bats at the airport. :-( Let him fight midgets at his own special weight ... means nothing. Meanwhile Golovkin will unify, break Hopkins' record and go down as one of the greatest MW in history :deal

Canelo was making 20 million dollars with the WBC title
Golovkin is making 2 million dollars with all his MW titles

Canelo has a SUPERIOR resume to Golovkins
GGG will never be able to reach Hopkin's level

    Do you understand this?
