The fight hasn't been called off yet but if it is, it's a clear duck. Can't defend it.

How is Kirkland better than Murray or Curtis ?

You could make a case Lara and Trout both beat Canelo And The whole boxing world is laughing at Canelos last opponent in Khan :deal

Ps: Mayweather, Cotto, and Khan was much smaller men naturally.

You see this is the problem with trying to rank resumes. I knew Khan would go on the list of top names in Canelo,s. How impressive a win was that really all things taken into account? Thats why i think maybe Canelo should offer Karl Frampton a fight. That would be a nice name on a resume.

Canelo off the strength of his own name, sells 500K-600K, His top numbers were just as much due to Cotto and Floyd's name (moreso actually).

This fight would probably do good numbers, not just because of Canelo but because of the opponent selection. Golovkin is well deserving of 35-40%.

Khan was just a gimme fight. Nothing more nothing less.

However, he is still a more complete fighter than anyone on GGGs record.

So GGG should call out PAC, Lomo, Cotto and Crawford just so he has some "BIG" names on his resume ....yeah that is the way to go:nut

Meanwhile Canelo can offer Shane Mosley a fight soon:lol:

I will concede that GGG needs to fight Canelo at CW between 156-158 and be happy with a 70/30 split. His biggest payday if he will just swallow some pride sort of like when Canelo swallowed his B..a..LLS and gave his belt away to GGG:lol::D

I thought the onus was on Golovkin, being the A side, to call Lara, right? Right?

C'mom Oscar and Canelo are too busy in Miami defending a lawsuit which basically they have been delaying for more than 6 years and probably will cost them "mucho dinero" for breaking a contract with a local promoter.
