In my mind vitaly would defeat wlad by mid to late stoppage if they met. I just can't see wlad take vitaly's punishment for 12 full rounds.. they are about same size but vitaly's much more agressive and I think that would be the difference here..
wlad hates pressure and I think Vitaly has exactly what it takes to pressure him into a stoppage ! to bad they're brothers and we will never know!

    Any thoughts?

Dunno.. he's wide open for a boxer his height to drill him with left hooks. And Wlad does seem to have a nasty left hook.

Wlad by easy UD, Vitaly is slower, less skilled, and breaths heavy after a few rds.

don king got no chance of making this fight.
they promised they mother that this fight would not happen and why get don king involved they both own K2 which could put the show on if they wanted

This is a fight that MUST happen, i do agree, but it's kinda hard when they promised never to ever fight each other. They are no doubt the best in the division, and a unification bout is the dream bout, but I don't see it happeing. Ever.

Purely in terms of boxing abilities, yes, this would be a fun fight. In practical terms, it would be an absolutely terrible fight since neither man is going to try to hurt the other. This is not the Williams sisters trying hard to win a tennis match. Asking two close brothers to actually try to hurt one another would not work out.

I've alway felt that their whole plan was to get all the belts and then fight each other. The whole "we promised our mother" thing is just a cover until they have all the belts. Just imagine the money this fight would generate....

For the record, I've always felt and still think that Vitaly would beat Wlad by a late round stoppage. Don't under estimate the big brother little brother dynamic here.

    hard to say.

I don't think I would want to see them fight if each of them had the belts.

Well the fight will never happen, but Wlad is overall better at everything, Vitali just has a better chin. Peter was made for Vitali, and I personally don't see Vitali doing too much more after this at 37. I'd still pick him to beat several of the top guys, I think a healthy Chagaev could beat him, maybe Valuev who has improved and doesn't have the size disadvantage that nearly all other heavyweights would have against Vitali, but other than Wlad and possibly Povetkin, I'd probably favor Vitali over the other top heavyweights.
