Come on man, I'm not biting on bull****. I'm talking about fighters and skills. Canelo can talk that **** all he wants too but he was looking for some one he could hit and possibly knockout. Is he admitting that his skillset is that limited. If a fighter don't come to you then you should have the skills to come to them and still prevail. I watched that fight and wasn't nothing lucky about those shots Lara threw. All of them were premeditated and thrown with the intent to do great bodily harm. That was a punch that swelled his head up and caused him to cease and desist all hostile actions against Lara or risk dying. I am not a fan, However I am a student of the fight game. I'm not gonna call you an idiot, You already called yourself that, but I will agree.:yep

i hear what you're saying but if you would pick the lesser known lesser money fight over the bigger fight and he wont have to hunt angulo down. yes he is fighting him for a confidence boosrt, too look good and get the best paydasy out of his options.

if you are saying he should had fought lara first you are crazy. not a given angulo wins a cherry picked fight, lara prob wont even fight until after this fight. so is that saying lara thinks his skills at that bad he had to wait in a fight ?

i dfint say those punches were lucky, i said he was lucky the injury occured. he was in big danger of losing that fight and he looked bad. fighter all the time take better shots than that and dont have the head blow up.

I hear you and I'm ok with your opinion, it's just not mine. I don't think he can beat the Charlo bros, especially Jermell. I know you watched him pick apart Rosado. He is also very young and getting better. I have never seen Canelo display skills like that. I don't think he wants any part of 160 and quite frankly I don't blame him. As for him going three zip at 154, I don't think so.:bbb

Lara is a very hard fight for canelo. The guy is bigger and can box really well. I don't think little 5'7 canelo can even hurt lara. Yeah angulo hurt lara but he's a powerful guy and much bigger than canelo.

We have to see more of charlo but he looks like the real deal to me, and he's 6'1 probably 170+ on fight night.

I like those Charlo bros but they really havent fought anybody. U can say Canelo hasnt either but beating Trout was good for him, even if he didnt look good. Both bros would have a very tough time with Trout.

U dont think Canelo can go 3-0 this year?? hmmm i guess you would have to think whos he gonna fight in his next 2 fights. I think he has a good shot. and if one of those is Lara then we shall see whats happens

I'm not saying it was a cherry pick because it's still gonna be good fight. It was a business decision and this is a business as well as a sport. Comparing their styles, it's a better matchup for Canelo but after this, it gets bad quick.

I think that Jermell Charlo would knock Trout out. The thing with him is that he was brought along right and his foundation is solid. He has a boxing mind and he thinks. Rosado is every bit a challenge as Trout and he sweated Charlo all fight long and came up empty. Charlo is 6'0" with a 73" reach and he knows how to use it. You could see the talent gap between him and Rosado. Just think, Rosado put up a better fight with Quillin and Trip G. before the fights were stopped.:bbb

Charlo has not proven himself at all.......................Alvarez is much better fighter than Charlo, and Golovkin would knock him out..............

    It just started going :patsch:patsch

Last legs at 23?? ur crazy bro. if he beats the crap out of Angulo the hye goes wayyyy back up! maybe from a true boxing fan not so much (even though there is people picking Anuglo over Canelo) but for a public or casual fan view it will expolde! Escially since all the exposure he just got against Mayweather, and if Canelo-Angulo is gonna be an exciting fight (It will) the hype keeps roling roliing rolling :bbb:bbb

Cotto is the only 50/50 fight after Angulo, but think Angulo beats him, Charlo brothers and Lara will decision him then when he moves to 160 he will get bullied

Charlos are featherfisted. Canelo walks both of them down. He would get worked by Lara at this point in time though.
