no one less than 175 can give Triple G a decent fight. goofy brits overpaid froch for those groves fights and chavez jr ran like the little idiot ***** he is. that's what ruined everything insofar as triple G's star & $. he's stuck with canelo growing a pair to finally fight someone his size that can fight back.

Personally I think Trout performed far better than Lara, at least he was still there willing to trade with Canelo and not running for the last 6 rounds, I can't stand Lara's negative style, and even though I had Canelo winning as you know, many others on here had it for Lara or a draw, let's not act like the match wasn't close, it was.

As far as guys he shouldn't be in the ring with, I knew he shouldn't be in the ring with Mayweather, and that he never had a chance, but from the beginning I thought he'd be too much for "feared" Lara who is one of the most consistently overrated fighters on this and many other websites. But he didn't do nearly as well as I thought he would against Lara which even though I scored it for him, I thought it was a disappointing performance.

Kirkland has no chin, that wasn't a fluke Conyers, Angulo and probably even Tapia could have stopped him if they had a little higher ring IQ. Kirkland has a terrible chin.

canelo will probably drop the bumland belt , throw it to the trash can
and make the fight at 155.
he said belts dont matter.,lets fight for honor and glory

    bumlovkin might duck though

I agree, Canelo is in a weird spot

Rummy's new vid touched on this too

I dont think he can continue to face welters without some form of backlash

Top 154 lbers Lara Trout Charlos Andrade, of them who can he beat or beat easily in fights that sell?

160, who can he beat there. Golovkin and Jacobs to me are overwhelming favorites. Quillin and Lemieux and Lee and Saunders and Eubank are similar if not slight favorites

    where does he go?

He may be able to get Cotto or Floyd into a big money rematch but again, hes not beating Floyd so hes going to take an L in one of those match ups

Hes getting to big for 155 hes going to have to move up but the fans wont take him calling catchweight bs all the time. maybe he gets the pass the first time or 2 vs a true 160lber but he isnt going to get 5-6 fights 2-3 yrs inventing his own weight

Anyone who is a Middleweight who drains someone to 155 to have an edge because he wants to weaken his opponent, is kind of a p**** move.

You want GGG drained because you clearly want to see him lose, and you think a b**** ass move like that is the only way Canelo can win.

So therefore you support fighters being b**** ass pussies when facing a fighter you have an agenda against.

I'd prefer Canelo to fight him at 160 because not only will GGG not be drained but neither will Canelo and he'll have a fighting chance.

If Canelo drops the belt Golvokin has completely humiliated him, Golvokin has publicly mugged him and Canelo has basically said "don't hurt me" and given him the belt he regards as his.

Ignore what Canelo says about "forget the belt", he had somebody walk that belt above his head behind him on the way to the ring Saturday, he cares about those belts and titles.

always has never fought at 160 and hes the a side
how can you expect him to move up to fight the best at 160

Backpeddling now I see? You run your ****ing mouth constantly about what a bum GGG is, and how much better Canelo's resume is, and how GGG only fights tin cans, and now when the match is a realistic possibility, you backtrack and say Canelo has no chance.

If you think GGG can beat Canelo and easily, then shut the **** up and stop bad mouthing him like so many of the mindless lemmings who pollute this site. I'm sure all of you assholes will tear Canelo down more than I have with this thread just so you can say GGG doesn't deserve any credit for this win. You mother****ers are sad.

GGG making 155? Canelo can't even make ****ing 155 anymore, he's run out of excuses, and you need to get a new act.

Reports are Canelo weighed 180lb + when he sparked glass jawed Khan.

Has Golovkin ever weighed that much on fight night?
