Don't get me wrong, 265 is WAY too much for him. He should get back to 245lbs like he was against Wlad.. he even had some definition on the abdomen back then, right now the only definition he has there is of almost spherical shape. That said, i think he looked a lot more motivated and fresh than he did against Vitali Klitschko last october. Despite his high weight, he threw 68 punches a round and i even saw him hooking (or i should say swinging) off the jab. His hands looked pretty fast and his counter punching was decent: Chambers even admitted that he held back on his powershots because of Peter's countering. Considering Chambers is one of those fighters who makes you look bad, i thought he did alright... he's definitely not the next big thing, but he can still be a contender for a few years to come. He just needs to get motivated to fight, not to eat.. and that seems to be the big problem. As for Chambers, he did what he had to do, but i think he has the same stamina/lack of offense problems as he had before. His trainer said that he would've beaten Povetkin had they fought again one week after, but based on this fight that's complete bull**** and he'd beat him just the same. For a moment i even thought Peter was gonna take it after he won the 7th or 8th. The 5 mile per day thing was bull**** as well; no 26 year old sports that belly with that much roadwork. He's a good contender and probably the new Chris Byrd, but that also means he's pretty much chanceless against either Klitschko.
