No excuses Martinez ko win over Williams was indeed awesome.

immediately after the margo fight, pac and his team said that they will never fight north of 150 and that margo was the biggest fighter that pac will ever face. pac is definitely going back down to 147 for his next fight and will probably relinquish that 154 lb belt.

martinez on the other hand, already said that pac is too small and that the fight will be too much of a mismatch.

in short, in all probability, pac-martinez will never happen.

as for mayweather, he has no choice but to take on either pac or martinez. if not, boxing fans will always view him as a ducker. that's why i think we are now much closer to a pac-floyd fight happening compared to before this martinez-williams fight.

Martinez seems like a good guy, I am happy for him. This fight makes Pavlik look a little better, at least to me.

As for Williams, he had better learn how to "box" certain fighters. I appreciate his exciting style, but he now knows it is nor for every opponent.

Yeah I like Martinez and was rooting for both guys. I'm glad for the deserved attention Martinez is getting and wish the best for Paul. TBH, PW should've learned his exciting style wouldn't work against everyone after Quintana 1.

Great KO. I like both fighters, hopefully Martinez can go on to unify at middleweight or fight Floyd. I don't think he'll fight Pac, who'll go back down to 147 and maybe fight Berto if the Mayweather fight doesn't happen. I hope Williams can recover and come back strongly, he's got great ability, just needs to learn how to use it better in the ring.
