No Fans Welcome Miguel Cotto in Puerto Rico, Cotto Responds!

    I am sure others can translate in a more effective way but after watching the video at El Nuevo Dia and Primera Hora the media was almost mocking him at one point when speaking of Tito's big "Caravanas" which were at one point like huge parties in the street for his victories....

    Also about Tito's big "Caravana" huge fiesta that is already planned for when he returns from the hall of fame... compared to Cotto not being welcome by not one single fan in Puerto Rico... Cotto responds...

    "I am not one who cares about being welcome, I just want to honestly go home, relax with my wife and family. They are the ones who I do this for in the end, when I train, fight, I do it to sustain them"

    Then he drops a subtle bomb on Tito...

    "We all know that Tito is known for arming his own "Caravanas" weeks before he came back to the island. There is already one prepared for weeks now before he even left to the hall of fame"

    Tito loved spending some money on the people and partying with them.... Cotto is not about spending money like that and just wants to go home.

    Why do our fellow Boricuas in Puerto Rico hate so much on Cotto?

    I've already spoken on this, they turned on him when he made them pay for the Trout fight. Also, he is not approachable in the streets, his bodyguards keep the public off him. They think everyone should be like Tito, every one of his fights was free in P.R. and he was always approachable, that's all my Dad mentioned but that's enough for island P.R.s I guess.
