Did you see Scum on ITV4 last night by any chance? Inspired?

I think that Louis is the guy with the best shot to beat the peak Ali. For me, it's all about the Ali jab and how busted up Louis is when they get to round 9 ish. How does the Louis shoulder roll interact?

If Louis, in spite of what I actually consider to be his superior footwork in this fight only is not the fresher of the two at this point because he's been busted up, he can forget it. If Ali is the one starting to flag because of all that tiring floating, Louis will get him.

I watched the first half hour again actually, so 'yes'. Seen it about a thousand times. It's good to spot the future TV stars. :D

ps. Archer's the best in it, easily. :good

Bill;it just may be that you overrate Ali-and I grossly underrate him;it may be that you find excuses for him and I don't.I'm sticking with what I said-the three Ali-Norton fights could've gone either way.I'm not an Ali fan.By the way,who knows, maybe he wasn't the same after he fought his pal and ex-sparring partner 185 lb.Jimmy Ellis after Frazier I.In any case,I don't believe Ali 64-67 was the greatest/hardest to beat...L'Chaim..

I think ex-champ Ingemar Johansson outboxes Ali.

The probing, extended left hand and cocked right hand.

That style is really going to befuddle Ali.

    :)

I would certainly like to pay a visit to the very land of make believe where our dear friend Janitor resides.

    .........Then again, perhaps I wouldn't..............:D

Thanks Thad Spencer for the "Ingo" support.

The only common thing that Ali and Ingo as boxers had in
common, is they both had great looking girlfriends.

    :)

Lennox Lewis would have a solid chance, as well as the obvious choices in Holmes, Frazier..

It did in the second fight. Whenever Ali got up on his toes against both Frazier and Norton, he took control. He just didn't have the stamina to do it as often in the 70s.
