Doesn't matter if he fights AA in Germany, in the US or on Mars. He'll get knocked out.

Oh hell yeah if this fight was in the UK Kessler could have thrwon Ward to the grown with no problem ..And great point about the Hatton fight that was more of a grappling match than a boxing match !

Incompotent scoring, corruption, etc is a plague in boxing that aint going away anytime soon. When Haye fought Valuev, one of the judges tried to rob Haye by scoring the fight a draw! a ****in draw!. Haye won almost every round of that fight and I don't know how that judge could justify what he did. Trouble is, he won't be asked to justify it.

The person who showed the most class in the tournament so far, on the road, is Jermaine Taylor. He fought clean and though he lost, I have a lot more respect for him than Dirrell and Ward.

    Unreal. I'm defending Jermaine Taylor.

Maybe you should re-read the Super Six fine lines again. Ward's fighting only his group stage fights in the US. And why would you or any other European care about this, his next two fights in the group stage are against fellow Americans--Taylor and Dirrell.

I'm not saying that Valuev won, because I refused to score that stinker myself, but one of your own commentators had Valuev winning, so stop crying about that decision. Khan Kotelnik 120:108 looks worse to me.

edit: Does anybody know how they will deal with Ward's travelling issues, if he faces european fighters in the semi final?

For those who say Ward shouldn't fight all of his fights in the U.S., he fights 2 americans next, where should he fight them?

The 2 US judges gave Kessler 2 rounds! Seems like they bent over backwards to find a reason to award him those. I didn't see Kessler win a single round or even get the better of one exchange. Kessler was treated fairly enough, he just got his ass kicked.

Personally, I don't know why any of these fighters are getting hometown advantage. Why can't all the fights be in neutral states/countries?

And why are people bitching this tourney is fixed? It is the first ****ing round and any true boxing fan should just be enjoying this. I don"t see fottball fan waste a heap of time bitching that the nfl is fixed when their team doesn"t win a regular season game or germany doesn"t win the opening round of the world cup. Shut up and enjoy this thing!!! American fix, european fix...enough already!
