... sorry couldn’t resist that. But shame he had to retire - promising fighter with a big heart - best of luck to him.
Good he's finally put an end to this charade. He loved the perks that came with being a pro boxer more than he loved the sport itself. The ridiculous length of his retirement statement just shows he loves himself far too much .
Not a nice post mate. The guy has had his career ripped from under him, due to an injury and some shoddy medical work. Its hardly a time to laugh at him. Wish him all the best in his new career and also hope he gets the right results legally/financially going forward.
The injury list is ridiculous and reading between the lines it appears there’s been medical negligence at some point. Hope he finds fulfilment elsewhere.
Ogogo was never going to make it on the world level as his loss to Cunningham demonstrated. I was never really impressed with him. He had a great look and was by all means a nice guy but none of his performances really impressed me. Hopefully he can carve out a career in the media whether it’s in the sport or some other industry because he has the look of a kids tv presenter if you know what I mean. I can see his appeal in the media. He’s a warrior for sure, showed heart against Cunningham and did all he could to fight again.
Remember when you were aghast when I made that light-hearted joke about you spying on your neighbours' daughter from outside her window?
Dude has had it rough. Whether he would have went all the way, maybe not but wouldn't wish what his been through on anyone. Sounds like his suing the British boxing board of control or a Doctor from his ifl interview. Says he can't mention certain stuff but his hinting that after that last fight certain things happened which wasn't right. Seems his questioning the medical treatment he recieved afterwards as he makes reference to how Brook had one op and his eyes were fixed so he could fight. Also he kinda hints that his eyes were ****ed before that fight but he was medically cleared to fight so I think his defiently going after the board.
