No-Greats allowed, best of the rest quarter century heavyeight tournament

    I know that I have forgotten someone, possibly a bunch of guys. (Tyrell Biggs, Ruddock, Tua, Carl Williams, Jerry Cooney, were all considered).

    Also, I know that some will argue that guys like the Klits and Buster Douglas are not great and should be on here, but I feel they would ellicit too much support.

    Finally, there are guys on here like Spinks where people would argue for his greatness (to me, his greatness was at light heavy).

    For the sake of fun, lets say that certain guys were injured and we had to make substitutions, or whatever.

    I dont know how to make a complete bracket on my post, but if I had to pick a winner it would Ike Ibeabuchi, he was the complete package, and would of probably ran through most, if not all the fighters that were named, just my opinion.

    Each winner fight the winer next to him, and they keep funnelling down until you get a winner of bracekt 1 and 2.

    The winner of the two brackets fight for the official ESB best-of-the-rest belt.

    Now, Chag will fight Witherspoon, Byrd will fight Brewster, etc.

    but Ike is a good enough answer.

    I wonder if it wouldn't be more interesting without Ike, as he appears to be the consensus guy.

    Some interesting matchups here. I can see Witherspoon going very far and possibly winning. Michael Dokes would be my sentimental favorite since I was a big fan of his.
