Parker’s a tricky opponent for anyone at the best of times but it would of been nice to have had a Ref let em actually engage
He could've scored three knock downs and still lost officially. Heck, they probably would've DQ'd him after one. Parker needed to throw more, and I get annoyed when visiting fighters don't...but this was a pretty big screwjob on a number of levels. Parker's team should've seen it coming from a mile away.
100% joshua was looking for the ref everytime. however parker just allowing himself to be leant on and never trying to fight out of those situations was infuriating
No one said he did. Everyone were just dissapointed that the judges gave only 1 2 rounds for Parker, which is insane he won at least 3 or 4. 117 111 or 116 112 was a much fair result.
Someone refill the oceans because the salt has been drained... The fight sucked. Joshua sat behind the jab and never got out of first gear, but then Parker seemed content to backup, do nothing then try the odd ambush to win the fight. The score cards were too wide in my opinion, but easily justifiable considering Parker did nothing and just looked like he was there to survive. Once Parker realised Joshua wasn't slowing down he gave up.
Indeed he didn't. And the only people saying otherwise are those who are grossly biased against Joshua.
Awful, embarrassing and shameful scoring from some really good RBR scoring guys here today. This is biased AJ hate like there is no tomorrow. Prob the worst scoring i have ever seen here in a big fight like this. I mean 119-109 is too wide, no question, but having it like 117-111/118-110 is pretty much correct here. Parker won two or three rounds.
