    I would rather see Nate against Marquez than Mayweather. I'll even take Pacman, or Hatton, if he gets by Pacman. It would be a better fight than with Mayweather. I hope Ellerbe was joking when he said Mayweather would fight Marquez. Does anybody actually think he would stand there and fight like those 2 warriors did Saturday nite? No offense to Floyd, but, I don't think so. U all remember Hatton-Mayweather and how lousy that was until like the end of the 6th round. Mayweather doesn't fight like he use to like in the earlier part of his career when he last fought Chico way back in 2001. He's a total defense first fighter which produces lousy fights. Add Oscar-Floyd, if u don't believe me. Message to Floyd, please stay retired.:hat Nobody misses ya. You are boring as hell.:tired

    Mayweather has moved up 4/5 weight classes. Of course he's not going to fight the same.

    Why "but" ??? I think Mayweather have a potential to be one of the best in
    history instead he just went for the fluke retirement wasting his very prime.
    His love for the money is bigger than love for the sport. Don't think he is boring,
    he just have no respect for the fans and for the sport ...
    so there is no "but" - Floyd: stay retired ... nobody misses ya !

    Oh, come on. Floyd use to be a super featherweight for pete's sake. He will not stand there and fight Marquez, no freakin' way. When was the last time he did?

    I like the sweet science if you ask me...I wouldnt like to see mayweather-JMM and would rather wanna see Mayweather Pac or mayweather-Mosley..you can't knock him for defense first..THE NAME OF THE SPORT IS BOXING NOT TOE TO TOE!:hat

    Again, people making way too much out of a fighter "calling out" someone in an interview. The real calling out is in negotiations, and if Mayweather wants $20 million, you don't have to worry about him fighting Marquez.

    Mosley and Pacquiao, or even (sigh) a Hatton rematch are bigger paydays than Marquez.

    That's just weak, dude. Nobody says no to a boxing classic, Nobody. I appreciate a good technical boxer, but, I would rather see a good scrap, if u know what I mean. Makes my saturday nite. But, I respect your opinion.

    I was wondering that myself, actually. Nice little body on that.

    As for the thread, as usual when Floyd is facing a smaller man, he'll walk Marquez down. If Marquez tries to go balls out, he gets stopped.
