I find it funny how some write off Morales in this comparison. His only losses in his prime were competitive decisions against Barrera.

Come on people. He beat 26 year old Pacquiao! If that's not greatness then what is? Morales took apart a fighter who had beaten peak versions of Barrera, Cotto, Ledwaba, Hatton. And just chewed them up and spit them out like they were nothing. The same man who annihilated prime Barrera (WTF), Morales beat him. I think people forget that Pacquiao absolutely blew up Barrera at his best. Then Morales beat him.

Rarely, he's forgotten because his lack of longevity. The perception that Floyd has more skill. And the fact that Pacquiao has a better resume.

I'm fine with him being #2 behind Pacquiao because Pacquiao's resume is so great.

But how does he stack up against Floyd? He has the better Resume.

He doesn't stack up against Floyd....I don't know why you keep trying to force it.....that's not sayin E-Mo didn't have a hell of a career...its just not near as good as Floyd's or Pac's for that matter

He certainly is not #2 of anything....maybe greatest Mexican fighter.

He does stack up to Floyd. He beat prime Pacquiao. It's just that simple.

ONE win which is impressive...does not equate a career or resume....like saying Buster Douglas stacks up to Wlad cus he beat Tyson....NO!

His resume and accomplishments don't stack up to PBF period. There's a reason why EM was never mentioned as the best fighter of this era, it's that simple really.:deal

His second best win is also better any of Floyd's best wins.

    He's wasn't a one win pony.

that's what you keep harpin on though....Floyd's career is better than E-MO period.

again E-Mo had a very good career but its not close to Pac's or Floyd's by any stretch

    It is close to Pacs.

Pacquiao has wins over prime Barrera, Marquez, Ledwaba and arguably Cotto. And had a close fight with prime or near prime Morales. Erik cannot stack up to that.

But he can stack up to wins over peak Castillo and Corrales.
