No hate. I just cannot see how Floyd is greater than Morales

I hear you on the bias. But close to 90 percent though. Floyd has his die hards too.

I think so..chico was an undefeated ko artist that was favored to beat Floyd and got utterly destroyed...

Pac beat a faded, burnt out fighter who was unfocused...he had camp problems, the issue about the plate in his head, and most importantly he had lost his passion..:deal
MAB wasnt 100% FOR the pac fight imo and he was not a prime fighter.

And about 60% of that was dictated by angry Floyd haters.....i cant take that poll seriously at all...

Hmmm. As you know, I'm not really a fan of either Pac or Floyd but I consider the MAB win to be of a much higher quality. The arguments/excuses for either Chico or MAB not being at their best (not talking prime, but camp/weight issues and distractions) can be made by both sides and neither hold much weight for me. MAB may have been a little faded, but I consider him to be a different caliber of fighter from Chico so even a slightly faded MAB is better than a prime Chico to me. Just my ten cents.

Also, as a tidbit, it's a common misconception that Floyd was the underdog. He was actually a -120 or -130 favorite depending on where you wanted to place your bets.

I keep replaying the fight in my mind over and over. To be honest I can't see how MAB looked past it.

He wasn't out of position. His footwork looked solid. His technique looked the same to me. His chin didn't look cracked. He was stopped on accumulation.

That left hand that Manny landed flush on Barrera's chin in the 3rd round would put a featherweight down. I can't think of any featherweight who could take that shot besides Morales.

His stamina didn't look worse than normal. He never was a high stamina fighter. And after eating hundreds of Pacquiao's punches he gassed in the 11th.

His body punching still looked solid. He was landing his body shots. Pacquiao at 126 though just had an iron chin. He walked through them.

MAB to me looked the same as he always did. He just could not handle the chin, power, speed and workrate of Pacquiao. He had his technique, he didn't look sloppy. He just could not handle the physicality of Pacquiao.

Morales style is what kept him from having longevity not cherry picking!
Morales would go to the trenches with any fighter wheatear they where A level or D level.

Its willingness to trade leather with anyone that shorten Morales career.

For the last time kid. Reading comprehension.....

I say Morales is greater because of his wins over Pacquiao and Barrera.

:|:|:| Did you not reference a poll on this forum to justify why Barrera was a better win? :patsch :deal What limited memory you have. Writing comprehension ...

That's out of context. I was responding to Drenlou after he quoted me where he mentioned the Barrera win. Which he brought up. I have no problem with his statement though I disagree, but he was articulate and did not display the intelligence of a 14 year old.

Please log off and read a book. I'm not trying to be a douche, but you can't comprehend the English language.

Morales also stayed at the 130 division for too long. He drained himself too much and should have been fighting at 135 after the first Pacquiao fight.

Audley Harrison never fought Ali either, but it doesn't require any real consideration in determining who would win.

    Morales - very good fighter.
Mayweather - ATG fighter. Another level altogether.

Morales has 2 wins out of 6 fights in his seemingly big fights. These wins came against fighters who weren't on Mayweather's level either.

Let's also remind ourselves of Raheem.

No problem with this logic if you apply it consistently. You can't say Morales was drained at 130 but Pac was still somehow a natural 126 lber when he was fighting at LW, JWW and WW.
