i a gutted as i thought the haye lost was unfortunate and that it was just a case of haye having tremendous ko power.
i thought macc could come back from that and go on to win his title back and make some big fights v adamek, cunninham, mormeck etc.
i have completely lost hope for him now.
    not good enough.end of.

Yep he was actually beginning to grow on me a lil bit. He shot his load looking of a KO that never came, he wouodve won if he concentrated solely on winning the rounds. HE certainly doesnt have the durability for the highest level.

It's a shame 'cos I liked Enzo; he was a straight-up guy who didn't strum his own harp all the time; and he's not just a greedy *******, unlike most of the Heavies out there. But I can't see him competing at the top level after two KO's in near succession. I don't know if he has the will to rebound again, and spend what will be the best part of a year - at best - working up a title shot again.

i think he should continue...with a new trainer..

with proper advice he would have won last night, every night of the week..

it was a tatical nightmare last night...macs better than that with proper advice.

he's set himself back a year or two...but he could certainly come back to a good level

He's probably moved on the thinking Amir Khan would beat Alexis Arguello by now.

Agreed. Enzo Calzaghe is a terrible trainer. Joe was lightning in a bottle and Big Mac does not have the luxury of a padded record or stoppage wins forced by bewildering flurries of slaps. He needs work and a proper game plan.

Wow... it took as many as 13 posts for JC's name to come up. ESB is truly making progress.

He got up and tried to fight in both of his ko losses....makes hayes victory lose some spark....but the mac still has power just not the best chin
