No Hype for Canelo Vs Jacobs...DAZN failing in Promotional sense?

I cut the chord so I'm not sure if it's being advertised in TV commercials. my guess is no since my dad wasnt aware of the fight and he watches a lot of TV

I see no buzz on social media

my guess is since it's on dazn which isnt affiliated with American TV networks they have no incentive to preview it.

my hope/guess is this week, fight week, they run it on sportscenter, first take and discuss it on a show like around the horn

almost appears that since it's not ppv the urgency to push 1 given fight isnt there though canelo is a fighter that would drive subscribers

 

I think with DAZN, they all seem pretty intelligent guys, this is the first big event in boxing for them, expect they should learn alot from this one, whether it goes well or not.
