I think they'd be two very different fights, style wise I think Haye would be more suitable for Wlad than Vit, but that said I think Vit has a better chin than Wlad so I'd give Haye a good chance of beating either.

Such a poor fight, I think VK was out after the 3rd, haye should beat him, unless he does something stupid, I need a good fight now to chear me up, that fight was depressing.

That's Vitali's only avenue in this fight. I will only entertain one possible scenario that results in a Vitali victory, and that is because Haye doesn't have a solid chin. It is not out of the question that Vitali could put a thunderous right cross down his pipe in the early rounds and Haye might not find that as easy to recover from as he has in his other fights. But that is his only hope, the golden punch. If you put these guys in the ring 10 times Haye would win 8 of them.

Haye would be lucky to make it to the 4th round. I'm not sure he would. If he rushes in, it could be over in 2 with his crap chin.

Just another methodical beatdown by VK, and just another KO on the resume of the HW champ with the highest KO ratio in HW history (92.3%). Add the 45-1 victim to the scrap heap. At least Gomez was game and I give him a ton of credit for hanging in as long as he did.

Haye's speed can cause Vitali trouble for like 2 or 3 rounds, then he will slw down and get dismantled.

VITLAY was slow and lumbering tonight. Well alright even more slow and lumbering than he usually is.

Haye would go matrix and shatter that glass inside of 4 rounds, it'd be a totally one sided beating. Like DLH V Pac, except with hard punches.

I was thinking the same thing as i watching it...Vitali did not look good tonight. And Gomez looked like ass, from the 1st round i knew he had no chance of winning.Vitali looked slow and easy to hit..i think Haye could beat him

At least sth haters and fans agree on: It will be a good fight. However it seems to me Klitschko(s) is/are the new Calzaghe. So many threads just to talk their fights bad because they actually are so good.

Gomez is bigger then Haye and has fought much better fighters then Haye. Who has Haye beat that was actually better then Gomez? And how did Vitali look terrible? He easily beat up Gomez to a tko win.

    1) Gomez is half an inch bigger than Haye

    2) It is hardly a fair comparison (Haye's HW career vs. Gomez') as Haye has only just started fighting at the weight

    3) Haye has beaten many fighters that were better than Gomez version 2009

    - Mormeck
    - Barrett
    - Fragomeni

All offered far stiffer opposition than the Gomez we saw in the ring tonight.

    4) Fighters can look terrible in winning, it is possible, didn't you know that? In short:

    - Poor defence (no defence)
    - Horribly gassed after 2-3 rounds
    - Clumsy and very untidy

Barrett is better then the 2009 Gomez? Lol. Do you think before you type? Isn't Barrett the same guy that was beat up by the slowest heavyweight ever in Valuev? Gomez of 2009 would easily beat a 2008 version of Barrett that fought weak chin of Haye.
