he wont try to catch haye.

vk will be tying up haye and nuetralizing haye's offensive barrages just like he did with jcg.the extra speed in haye wont matter because it'll be neutralized by vk's defensive abilities.

i see haye trying to ko vk and throwing alotta heavy leather, plus trying to get vk to chase him which wont happen.vk wont waste his energy like that.he'll look to counter and land the big right, whether its the straight right or an uppercut, they'll get in,haye will slow down and his offensive barrages will be neutralized just like jcg.and even though, initially, they're will be more speed and more punches, haye WILL tire after a few rounds of throwing bombs and getting clinched and leaned on.

and if haye tries to get dirty,he'll lose at that game as well.vk packs one mean headbutt as an addition to his defensive arsenal.

jcg lasted to the 9th because he's a southpaw and very defensive minded and vk has a hard time with lefties.
i see haye being an easier opponent than jcg.he'll be easier to tag being that he'll be more willing to commmit and trade than jcg was.

i could be wrong but this is just what i sense.

I don't think it's fair to compare a southpaw and a righty, they are so different when it's time to actually fight. Wlad has a harder time with southpaws but usually dominates righties. Vitali fought a southpaw tonight and naturally looked a bit awkward. It's just how it goes.

What defensive abilities? He's keeps his hands at his waist for the whole fight.

Yes, Barret is better than the version of Gomez we saw tonight, and this is a Gomez fan typing this right now so you can trust me that I'm not being bias. Gomez 2009 is not fast or mobile, people who say he is fast and mobile are basing this on older fights. Barret has better victories on his ledger than Gomez. This is obvious to everybody but you.

Yes. He already has shown his iron chin fighting Tyson-like Monte Barrett and Sonny Liston clone Jean Mormeck. Clearly, he will stand up to either of the Klit's punches and work the inside to KO both men within two.

It could come early, but I think the middle rounds is more probable.

Vitali get smoked by Haye?? More like the other way around. Haye's chin wasn't great a cruiser, it's gonna be PURE glass at HW. Either Klitschko would annihilate the over-rated hype job.

I love how guys base things on 1 fight... so lets talk about the fight with Peter... after that fight... would you still say Haye beats Vitali?

When people talk about Haye's speed being a huge factor, they must remember that Haye does not have the stamina of an Evander Holyfield. Haye wont be able to maintain the same speed and power throughout a fight now he is a HW.

Haye has put on lots of weight/muscle to make himself into a HW correct ?

What happens when you put more muscle on ? your muscles need more oxygen which tires you out more. What happens when you get tired? you reactions slow down, and you are more suspect to getting hurt easier.

I thought Vitali was impressive against Peter but Peter wasn't. What both the thread starter and myself have said in our posts is that Hayes speed will be a big factor and that is what makes him (Haye,) a different proposition from Gomez and would apply the same logic to Peter.

Not neccessarily true. Some of that mass was natural. He has gained some mass but he only added 15lbs for the Barrett fight(after taking off approx 15lbs).At cruiser he was having to drain himself to make the limit. At HW,I think he is alot healthier and all his physical attributes should have improved with the extra weight
