Look at this... Those aren't arms, those are ****ing This content is protected . This content is protected He's pretty awesome David Haye, I'm thinking about becoming a fan.
Wlad doesn't have great stamina either imo, but in this fight Wlad is not gonna be the one who is having to move around the ring looking for openings, and getting tired in the process, if Haye's reactions are his only defence against Wlad, he will be in more trouble the longer this fight goes, because fatigue will start to set in around the 6/7 Wlad will have been commanding the centre of the right with his jab making Haye do all the moving so he wont be as tired as Haye.
NO... wlad has been at the same weight for years... Haye is adding... so for guys to think his speed and stamina to be the same or faster, thats wrong. It doesnt work like that. That is also 1 of the reasons Wlad doesnt lift a lot of weights... muscles to big=need more oxygen.... Briggs is a perfect example (I know he has asma) but his muscles start to burn carbon dioxide quickly which causes him to need more oxygen and he slows down. Im not saying that will happen to Haye, but to say he will be just as fast and stamina wont be an issue for a guy adding 20-25 lbs is incorrect
Haye claims that all his training(which is logged)has improved as a HW ie.all the figures have improved since the step up from cruiser. This includes speed-he says he is faster at HW. What are you basing these potential stamina problems on??Haye got gassed in the Thompson fight where he was stopped but since then his whole attitude has changed and he has had no such problems since then. Why would this fight be any different?Because Wlad will make him move you think?
You should know what the term blown up means, when referring to Boxing. It does not mean someone is making you out to be a big HW by describing you as a blown up HW. I think you already know this. I dont know why you want to be so pedantic.
Haye said himself he is faster as a HW.See above post.He is not neccessarily adding, just not removing like he ahs done in the past. That can only have a positive impact IMO
I understand that now I just didn't understand it in its original context.Didn't mean to be pedantic sorry. But yes I agree Haye did add size i thats what you did indeed mean.We can move on:good
Like I said... maybe faster to start... but with bigger arms and more weight, he has a much better chance of slowing down earlier... Im not saying he will, Im just telling you how the body works:good
Haye wouldn't say any different though would he? Haye looked like he was blowing in the Barrett fight to me I guarantee Wlad will make him move. Steward is no fool, he knows what he has to do against Haye, and i feel his instructions to Wlad will be like they usually are dominate from centre ring with the jab. You must understand how effective Wlad is when he claims centre ring and stays on the jab, its very hard to get in, because he is a good counter puncher and, he does not reach with his jab.
Yeah kinda.....:hey Im all jacked up after Vitali fight...cant wait to get to camp with Wlad hopefully against Haye:good:good:good:good
OK I see your angle. But,is the opposite not true also....draining and depleting yourself has an adverse effect on stamina??
Haye went brawling with Monte Barret and got knocked down in a back and forth fight. Great fight, but Barret still gave him a fight. Try that toe to toe strategy with Vitali, he gets his ass handed to him. Haye loves to stand and trade, it wont work with Vitali. He would need to box all 12 rounds behind a jab and fight in and out. Its doable, but Haye has Never fought in that style before. I would be very surprised if he pulled it off. He still has to keep Vitali off of him. There is no HW out there that can match Vitali's physicality and pressure. Not even Wladimir Haye gets knocked out, or he fights the fight of his life and wins a decision. I go for the former
