You can look at this fight with Wlad two ways. You can say Wlad is too big, and his Boxing skills/power should see him through against Haye, but then you can say well, if Sam Peter can nearly KHTFO, then why cant Haye?

Of course Haye wouldn't say any different but I have faith in his preparations and I know come fight night he will be the best he can be in every department.Preparations are more scientific nowadays and he will do everything right I'm sure.No doubt he is in better shape now than he was earlier in his career.

Haye was wild, reckless and inefficient in the Barrett fight.Too eager IMO.

It is not easy to get inside with Wlad,I would never suggest it would be,especially with an average chin.BUT same goes,Haye knows what he needs to do to beat Wlad.Him and Booth will have a game plan, whether he can implement it is another matter

Exactly! Being a southpaw saved Gomez a worse beating tonight and made it look kind of awkward.Against Haye Vitali“s missile like jab with all those weird angles will punish Haye all night, as long as Haye stands that is...

David Haye is probably only the 3rd or 4th best heavy in the UK.Haye will have a very short run in the heavyweight division.

Haye wont last against Wlad. Holds his hands low, and likes to trade. I have not seen anything from him stylistically that would predicate him beating Wladimir.

The "All it takes is a punch" concept is great, but its nothing to bet a fight on. Haye has been knocked down by Cruiserweights, and Wladimir hits far far harder than any fighter he will have faced, with quick hands.

Haye also I believe would get tired once the fight went to the mid rounds. His musculature and bulk will not do him well in the stamina department.

Peter lasted because it was a do or die fight for Wlad. His nerves got the best of him.If Wlad had been coming into the Peter fight undefeated and with his confidence up he would have blasted him out of the ring!

Wlad doesnt rely on speed and foot movement though.

He just measures you up a lil while before he crushes you.

Yeah. I personally dont believe in either guys stamina. but im thinking that Wlad might conserve more, because he wont have to move as much. It will be Wlad's height and reach that will be intimidating Haye and forcing him to move.

However i thought Wlad looked very tired against Thompson, and that was not even a hard pace at all.

Wlad is most open imo, when he lets that right hand go. Not when he is jabbing. If Haye thinks he is gonna counter over the top of Wlad's jab, he may aswell forget it, because imo Wlad's reach is too big, and he does not reach with the jab. Its the right hand Haye should be looking to counter, because that is the punch that leaves Wlad open more than most. We saw it all the way through the Thompson fight and here is another example of it.
