To get by Wlad's jab. Haye should be looking to counter underneath Wlad's jab to the body, but that means staying in mid-range a bit more, which is obviously very dangerous thing to do. However i believe that is his avenue to getting by Klitscko's jab. I believe Wlad has questionable stamina like Haye...........so he might wear Wlad down to that way to. Of coarse he could bum rush Wlad, and look for the KO from the opening bell because Wlad does get disorganized when crowded, but that is gambling, and if Haye cant get rid of him in 5. That expended energy will catch up with him later on. A side note.....Haye is not the best finisher either imo.
Vitali would have that mother****er jumping out the ring. Wlad he would only have a hail mary chance. As if Haye could take either guys punch.
Fair point there,I agree. If Haye has Wladimir going at any point,I think he will finish the job.He got Enzo Maccarinelli out of there effectively(with the help of Enzos scrambled thinking-he should have taken a knee)and the Mormeck finish was really impressive and there are others
What i dont like about Haye as a finisher is he just goes clubbing with both hands. I believe he has done well to get away with it so far. Except for Thompson fight. Haye almost looks like an amatuer when he goes in for the finish imo. I think he is gonna pay for this again in his career. I think he has been lucky recently with Enzo. 8.30 This content is protected
Its one of those things, we can talk about Haye and either Klitschko fighting until we are blue in the face, but until a fight actually unfolds we won't gauge who is gonna win at all.. Klitschko (Wlad ) is a little susceptible to head shots and durability issues.. as is Haye..... Its a case of who lands first.................. We are otherwise just speculating ...........
David Haye has power, that's it. He's not as fast as his fans say, he's not very skilled. People make the argument about other fighters moving up, yet Haye didn't "really" prove himself longterm at CW. He won the belts, had a fight and moved up. Gomez had the a belt for 4 ****ing years at CW, and it took him 6 years for a shot.
If David Haye fights the Vitali that was in the ring against Gomez, Vitali will loose his belt. Vitali's defense was very suspect tonight against a one-handed fighter in Gomez, Haye would Knock him Out.
You underestimate Haye. Many people here underestimate him probably because they haven't seen much of him or they just dislike him. Many people overrate Haye aswell but he has speed and skills.Give him credit,he unified the division in just over 20 fights
You're out of your mind. EVERYONE always says they'll beat Vitali, and it never happens. Haye'd catch ONE right hand and go to sleep.
He was on the canvas twice against Barrett but niether were ruled as knockdowns. He never took a count either time, he wasn't in any sort of trouble either time, his head seemed clear on both occaisons. I watched the fight again today and didn't see any punch that could have been the one to put him down either time, it was in the same round as the second of those times he hit the deck that he KO'd Barrett. They weren't REALLY knockdowns. Back and forth fight! Of the 4 completed rounds, Haye won 2 of them 10-7, he won one 10-9 and the other could have been scored either way. Still, if you think Haye is a glass-jawed blown up Cruiser who struggled to beat Barrett, why let the facts get in the way?
