Ortiz has no speed and no jab, and I think these are essential tools to beating PBF.

These match-ups are so over-hyped these days. Im sure the ads will tell us to believe it will be the next Ali-Frazier

The no Jab part is true.. Victor throws power shots with no jab.. Thats why I was so suprised when he beat berto!

southpaw doesnt need a jab to beat him , but ortiz is b-class any way you cut it. I'm just curious how competitve he can make the fight.

He doesn't have elite skills, but he has enough of them to go along with his physical gifts and aggressive style to make it competitive.

My stand on this is, this fight is gonna be good for as long as Floyd treats this as a tune up for Pac. But on its own, this fight is just an utter mismatch. If after this Floyd decides to take another vacation while laughing his way to the bank, **** him.

To break it down, the only chance ortiz has are in the first 4 rounds.
We will see Ortiz bull rush for a little while, and mayweather will hit him with some hard shots coming in. He might even stagger floyd (a bit) but you have to realize, someone with heart and hand will be beat by a true boxing tactician who can evolve his style as the fight goes on every single time. Im saying either ortiz quits in his corner by the 9th or floyd knocks him out in the 10th.
No speed? COME ON MAN Ortiz has speed, but if maidana can capitalize on him being overly aggressive in early rounds, floyd is going to murder this kid.

Not enough speed to seriously challenge PBF
